2018 reflections

This is my year reflections these are the things i enjoyed this year and accomplished.

Seeking help

Today we were learning about seeking help when things go wrong online.
I learnt that when you see a cyberbully writing mean words you have to screenshot what they're saying and email 3 adults the screenshot.
I found it hard to remember what the 5 steps are.
I found it easy to choose the colours for the word art and to screenshot.
Next time I need to remember the 5 steps.

Netiquette

We were learning about Netiquette. I learnt that netiquette is using manners on the internet.
I found it easy to embed the google drawing into the blog post.
I found it hard to choose the background.
I really enjoyed learning about Netiquette because now i know how to use manners online.
Next time I need to group the drawing.

Making an Cybersmart Animal

We were learning about how to make a slide to teach Littler kids about cyber safety.
I found it easy to choose the animal for the drawing.
I found it hard to work together but we got there in the end.
I really enjoyed making the animal.
My top tip from doing this work is to Work together.
Next time I need to work with my buddy more and to comment more.

Acrostic poem

This is my Acrostic poem  that I did on the holidays. At first it seemed tricked because i had forgot what happened in the holidays. I enjoyed making this because It will remind me of my holidays  

Rimu learner slide

This is my Rimu learner slide that i did to show what to do as a Rimu learner. I enjoyed making this because Now i know what to work on and how to be a powerful learner. Next time i know how to make bullet points and how to change the shape of my face    

African Dwarf Crocodile

This is my slide on African Dwarf Crocodiles that I did with Cooper. It was a challenge but I succeeded. We had to research about the African Dwarf Crocodile and we went to a website called The kids.sandiegozoo.org. It was a challenge finding the info but easy to decide on the backgrounds.

I watch videos to learn how to make it.

It was easy to find the images and the shapes

It was difficult but I completed it.

Captain Cook

I was learning about Captain Cook

I enjoyed making this because all my friends didn’t know about him and they learnt lots my friend BenL and I worked together . I found hard finding all the information and making the kahoot. Next time I need to find out more information about him.

Hi, my name is Tommy and I’m a boy. I go to Ormond School.  I’m from Ngati Porou and I live in Tairāwhiti.
I have four sisters and no brothers.
I'm powerful learner. I'm good at sports, maths, writing and reading. I enjoy reading and maths and playing sports with my friends. I want to learn how to paragraph in my writing, and how to use expression in reading.  My goals are to reach stage 7 in maths and I want to reach stage 3 in writing.
My personal achievements are I want to become a professional football player or a YouTuber. A YouTuber called Ninja inspired me to become a YouTuber. Lionel Messi  inspires me to become a football player. I'm happy to share my learning on my blog when I get one. I'm really good at connecting with others
