RWC England Report

Today we were publishing our  Reports that we write on our countries in the RWC.

I enjoyed writing my Report because i got to find out about England.

I found it challenging to find out information about london.

Next time I would change My country that i had to do my Report on.

ENGLAND REPORT

Intro

There has been a lot of events occur in England over the years some were good others not so much. England has had a lot of major events happen such as the great plague, The black death and the fire of NewCastle and GateShead.

LandMarks

In England there are a lot of famous landmarks such as big ben. Big Ben is one of the most famous landmarks in England and One of the oldest clock in the world. Another famous landmark is buckingham palace which is 316 years old. Another one of England's Famous landmarks is Windsor Castle it is also the oldest landmark in England and it is 949 years old.

Food

 In England there are a lot of different types of food but only 1 main dish.

England’s main dish is Chicken Tikka Masala which consists of chicken, Rice and a special curry sauce.  Another one of England’s dishes is Fish and Chips With a side of Mashed Peas. England is also famous for their Roast.

Languages

NZ England then England a multiple languages that they speak. England mainly speaks English but also Speak Polish, Punjabi, Urda, Welsh, Cornish, French, Arabic and Portugeuse. England has so many languages because every country migrated to England.

Native Animals

In England there is a wide variety of animals. England's national animal is a lion because the lion stands for Pride, Strength, Courage and Dignity. England has a lot of native animals such as Curlew, Little Owl, Orkney Vole, Scottish Wildcat, Grey Seal, Wood Mouse, Fin Whale, Common Shrew and the European Hedgehog.

Flag History

England has had two flags throughout its history. England’s First flag was almost a complete replica to Scotlands but the Old England flag was red and white instead of blue and white. The new England flag is a centred red cross   with a white background. The old England flag was designed in 1606 by James lV.

London

In London there is a carnival called Notting Hill Carnival. It has been happening since 1966. The carnival is a Music Festival that is held on Notting Hill Street. Over 2.5 Million people attend this festival/Carnival and over 9,000 Police attend. The genre of music is soca music, Calypso and Stellpan.

Conclusion

In conclusion, England is a Great country with very little flaws. In England there has been a lot of famous Events occur. There is a lot of different food and animals and a lot of different languages. England is a great country that has welcoming people and great cultures.

RWC Uniform

Today I was learning to use polyline to make a country uniform and a shoe design.
 I enjoyed making the shoes and uniform and playing with the shoes and uniform.
 I found it challenging to use polyline to outline the uniform and to make the shoes.
 My digital learning object shows my England RWC uniform that I made in polyline and that I can group images and make a background in drawings.
Next time I would change my country that I made and my shoe design.
 

England Mascot

Today I was learning To use Polyline, Curve line and Group. We are also learning about the Rugby world cup and making things that involve England. I enjoyed attempting to make the lion and the flower that we chose and to figure out how to use polyline and curve line. I found it challenging to try and outline the lion and the flower with polyline and curve. My digital learning object shows what i have accomplished in the time we had to make the outline of the lion and flower . Next time I would change the animal and flower to make it a bit easier.
